Dead Ladies Show Podcast

I’ve produced the 5-star rated Dead Ladies Show Podcast since 2017, which has a robust international audience, and has received funding from the Berliner Senat, the Burg-Hülshoff Center for Literature, and Bard College Berlin, and has collaborated with Translationale and StAnza - Scotland’s International Poetry Festival. It has also been featured on CBS Evening News in the USA.

In 2019-2020, I produced the podcast for the Berlin Policy Journal, the English-language sister publication of Internationale Politik from DGAP, the German Council for Foreign Relations

Since 2020, I provide individual consulting services and contribute workshops and lectures on podcasting for Schreiben & Leben, a project that provides professional support for authors in Berlin’s independent literature scene; I’ve also contributed editorial support for podcasts from the German Marshall Fund, and produced a podcast series for independent publisher V&Q Books. In addition, I’m a regular at PodFest Berlin both with the Dead Ladies Show Podcast and as an educator.

In 2020-21, I consulted for and produced two podcast pilots and a major multimedia project with Human Rights Watch.

In 2022-23, I consulted on and served as Senior Editor for the podcast project Spatial Delight with Professor Agata Lisiak, under the auspices of The Sociological Review, funded by the Volkswagen Foundation. Spatial Delight is a ten-part podcast about space, society, and power inspired by British geographer Doreen Massey. From a London laundromat to a public park in Berlin, from a contested waterfront in Kochi to the Egyptian desert, our show seeks to inspire listeners to think about space and place as full of power, and to imagine political alternatives to the current world order.
